What is 2MXtree?

2MXtree is a collection of various scripts that renders a complete and fully functional tree like windows explorer. Main script is an XSL transformation sheet that converts XML in HTML.

2MXtree Classic (Final version - Frame support)

This is the first release of a written from-scratch entirely in XML.
It uses Internet Explorer 5 parser and an XSL to render.
For client only XML version.

2MXtree server

An ASP/Vbscript manages database connection on server. On client side functionality is provided by a couple of behaviors and a CSS style sheet. (I will add more details if you whish).

Among features:

1. Full source code available (You can hack any functionality... remember only to mantain copyright note) 
2. XML based (explore your data with a still new and amazing technology)
3. Completely database driven (exsist also a static version but db is really more exciting) 
4. Supports incremental dynamic download (this mean that you can now put online that 3 millions node tree of yours, 2MXtree will read it incrementally, one piece at time, adding nodes dinamically, without reload document)

Database is SQL 7.0 Custom modifications include: - multi language support - custom parameters support - partial (locked and stripped down) Netscape support. Netscape users see tree exploded and locked, IE uses can collapse/expand nodes.
Marziaflor http://www.marziaflor.ch Marziaflor use a modified site uses a modified version of 2mXtree classic. Database is SQL 7.0 Custom modifications include: - multi language support - custom images (at custom size) - custom document icon support - custom style on nodes text This tree is cached on server side in a Application variable to speed up page (nodes are nearly 600) A custom com object on server: - Collects data from database - Removes empty nodes - Make the structure of the XML
